And, to honour the release of the new High Elf book, my completed Prince Tyrion (with entourage of Swordmasters). I may be getting a largish Sea Guard army later in the summer, when I have the money. In the meantime, expect more painting updates!

For some reason, Tumblr won’t let me reorganize these pictures without crashing, so, in no particular order, here’s the last of the pictures from the New Eden Incident campaign battle. I failed a charge with my Emperor’s Champion’s group, my razorback got destroyed by gauss fire,  and my opponent’s cryptek ended up destroyed by my champion, and the final score was 7-2, after a board all but swept clean of the xenos filth. Hope to give you guys more shots of more battles to come!

And here’s the situation after the first three turns; a Necron jetbike flees into the town after I shot down two of its comrades. My squads exit their vehicles and begin shooting, and my large melee group that was camping out in the Rhino attempt to melee the Annihilation Barge, and thence into the Lych Guard and Cryptek. 

So, I’m gonna be posting some pics of the battle over the next little while, since I took quite a bit. The mission was simple, I deploy in the middle, Necrons deploy at the far end, and have to attempt to make their way to the walled off town at the far end. I get victory points for keeping necrons in their starting area and killing units, and she gets them for landing units in the town.

At any rate, here’s some pics of how we set up; honestly, I would have been worried had she brought a doomscythe to the table, but as it was, I figured I had a pretty good chance with this setup. 

And here’s my latest batch of Black Templars, including my dreadnought that I just couldn’t help painting. God, I love dreadnoughts. 

And while I’m at it, a WIP of a little game-based project I’m attempting…

Finished my Beastmen BSB! Beautiful model, and continuing on with my orange and black trend. I still have to do basing, but that will come in time.
